During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Middletown Planning Department is encouraging residents to contact them remotely either by phone or email.

Plans and other documents for drop off and pick up will be accepted Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Review of physical files, reports, and plans will be conducted by appointment only.

Home Rehab Program
Review new development applications; provide a long range plan for Middletown; administer the Township’s Affordable Housing Program; and to administer the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.

  • Demographic information; however, the Monmouth County Planning Board is the primary source for current demographic levels and projections
  • Municipal Land Use Law, Chapter 291
  • Ordinance amendments to the Planning and Development
  • Planning and Development Regulations (copies may be purchased)
  • Regulations along with draft zoning amendments (copies may be purchased)
  • Township Zoning Map (copies may be purchased)
