Affordable Housing Program
Mission
Our mission is to provide housing opportunities for low and moderate income households of all ages and backgrounds. In addition to our Affordable Housing Program, we will also include information about other programs to help renters and homeowners.
Application
You can become part of the lottery system in the Middletown Affordable Housing Database by completing the 2025 Middletown Township Affordable Housing Application (PDF). You can either download the application, call 732-615-2000 x2281 to ask for a copy to be mailed to you, or stop by the Planning and Community Development Department to pick one up. Our staff is available from Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM to answer any questions.
When affordable housing is available for occupancy, the Township will contact you by phone or email if you are selected in the lottery. It’s very important to keep your application current with the Planning and Community Development Department.
