Property Tax Payments

Citizens may pay their property taxes online, in the comfort of their home, by using a check, debit, or credit card. There is no waiting in line at the counter when you utilize our online tax payment system. There are some restrictions that may apply. You will be redirected to a third party where you will complete the payment process. For credit cards, debit cards, and e-checks, you will be required to pay a third party an additional processing charge that will be calculated and displayed. You must hit the final submit button to ensure your payment has successfully submitted. If done correctly, you will receive an email with a confirmation number.

You can also make a payment utilizing your online bill pay through your own bank. Please note that this is NOT an electronic transfer/posting. Your bank mails a physical check to the Township of Middletown which can take at least 2 weeks. The Tax Office is mandated by State Statue to use the date payment is received as the posting date, not the date on the check. Please check your bank’s policy on delivery times to avoid late interest charges. Most banks recommend scheduling payments on or before the due date, so please allow 7-14 days for delivery.
