PURPOSE: The Township of Middletown is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at Croydon Hall located at 900 Leonardville Road, Leonardo, NJ, near the intersection of Leonardville Road and Bryant Avenue in Middletown.

PROJECT SCOPE: The Township of Middletown proposes to create and improve the following facilities at Croydon Hall: renovate an existing heavily used baseball field into a modern, multi-use turf baseball field, as well as makes updates to the lighting system, and construct new pedestrian walking paths, fencing, dugouts, bleachers, a portable outfield fence, and a batting cage. This application includes the installation of a new synthetic turf. PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on February 2, 2026, at 7:00pm. The meeting will be held in person at One Kings Highway, Middletown, NJ 07748, and virtually at CivicClerk, as part of the regularly scheduled Committee meeting.
