Blue Envelope Program

The Middletown Township Police Department is participating in the Blue Envelope Program which was developed to assist drivers with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and police officers during a traffic stop. The Blue Envelope helps drivers with organizing their documentation and provides tips and education for officers on how to best assist someone with ASD. Enclosed in the Blue Envelope is an emergency contact form.

Blue Envelopes are available at the Police Desk window, located at the front entrance of the Middletown Township Police Department Headquarters (1 King Highway). The Police Desk window is open 24/7. The Blue Envelope Program is sponsored by the Monmouth County Police Chiefs Association.
