Township Announces Supplemental Leaf Collection for Early Pickup Zone


Collection will begin on Saturday, December 18th and is expected to be completed by New Year’s Eve (weather permitting) 

Due to the changes in weather this fall season, the first leaf collection zones will have a supplemental collection due to their early scheduled pickup.  

The additional collection will begin in the following zones on Saturday, December 18th. Please have your leaves curbside before this Saturday.

LEAF COLLECTION ONLY- NO BRUSH UNTIL SPRING

  • Place leaves in a neat row at the curb, not in the road.
  • Do not bag leaves. Bagged leaves will not be collected.
  • Do not mix brush, tree stumps, lumber, plywood, fence posts, railroad ties, or garbage
  • Do not set out leaves after your zone has been collected. Violators will be charged up to $1,250 for a separate individual collection. 

Residents can continue to bring leaves to the Middletown Recycling Center (52 Kanes Lane) until June 1st.  Brush is accepted year-round. Contractor/Landscaper drop-off of leaves and brush is prohibited.

Changes to Next Year’s Leaf Collection Schedule:

The Township is planning to adjust next year’s leaf collection schedule to address a potential extended fall season in 2022.
