Posted on: March 5, 2020[ARCHIVED] Interchange 109 Detour Advisory Starting Thursday, 3/12
All motorists are advised that, on or about Thursday, March 12, the existing Half Mile Road U-turn at Newman Springs Road and the Garden State Parkway will be closed, as part of the on-going Interchange 109 Improvements project. This includes a new left turn onto Half Mile Road at the existing traffic signal. Eastbound Newman Springs Road traffic wishing to access the Half Mile Road Park-Ride and northbound Parkway will be detoured northbound on Half Mile Road to Schulz Drive. This phase of work is necessary to open the new Parkway entrance/exit ramps and structure over Newman Springs Road and is expected to last two (2) weeks.
Delays during peak traffic hours can be expected and motorists are advised to use alternate routes to avoid the area.
