The Middletown Train Station/Church Street Grade Work Scheduled to Begin on Thursday, November 8 Rescheduled to Thursday, November 15

Road Reopens on Wednesday, November 21 (weather permitting)

Beginning Thursday, November 15 and continuing through Tuesday, November 20, Church Street will be closed due to grade crossing work. The work is anticipated to begin after the AM peak service on Thursday.  The road is scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, November 21.

During this time, vehicles traveling in and out of the parking lots near the station will travel on a detour as Church Street will be closed at the grade crossing.

Please NOTE: 
Middletown-Lincroft Road becomes Church Street at Holland Road.
Customers who have parked on the first day will have to use the detour on their return.

The detour is as follows:

  • Traveling north on Middletown-Lincroft Road: Turn left on Holland Road, right on Red Hill Road, right on Kings Highway, right on Church Street to the end of the detour.
  • Traveling south from Church Street and Kings Highway:  Continue on Kings Highway, turn left on Red Hill Road, turn left on Holland Road, turn left at Church Street and continue to the end of the detour. 

Please allow for extra travel time and do not travelthrough barricaded areas.
