MIDDLETOWN, NJ -- The Health Department would like residents to be aware that a dog has been on the loose in Middletown since Saturday. The dog was last seen this morning on Palmer Avenue in Hazlet. She is a spayed female and is currently up-to-date on her Rabies shot.
If you see the dog in the photo, please do not approach her as she is likely to bite out of fear or bolt into traffic. Report the dog sighting to the Township's Animal Control Department at 732-615-2097 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or to the non-emergency police number, 732-615-2100, after 4:00 p.m. or over the weekend.
