[ARCHIVED] 1/4/18: Winter Storm Update # 2

Middletownlogo_Indianhead

Due to the inclement weather, all Municipal facilities will be closed on Thursday, January 4th (with the exception of emergency personnel) and programs are cancelled.

The closure includes the Middletown Township Public Library, the Middletown Arts Center, the Senior Center, Poricy Park and the Health Department.

Garbage and bulk collection in the North Zone has been cancelled and is postponed until Monday. Please remove your carts from curbs so crews can plow the streets safely.

Residents are reminded to use off-street parking wherever possible. Plow drivers can clear the roads more efficiently when there are no cars parked on the streets. Motorists are encouraged to stay off the roads. To report a hazardous condition to the Road Supervisor, please call 732-615-2000 and press one. For a police, fire, or medical emergency, please call 911.

Additionally, due to the blowing and drifting of the snow, please clean around your flu pipes and dryer vents to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Buddy Skelly, Middletown Township Fire Marshal, at 732-615-2270 or 732-615-7915.
