[ARCHIVED] Enter the Middletown Township Holiday House Light Decorating Contest!

Holiday House Decorating Contest

Do your Christmas light decorating skills rival Clark Griswold's? If so, then you should definitely enter our annual Holiday House Light Decorating Contest presented by Middletown Recreation and the Middletown Recreation Advisory Board!

All residents are welcome to enter, and the entry process is easy:

Step 1: Decorate your house!

Step 2: Email a photo or a 5-second video that best showcases your Christmas lights to with the following information by Wednesday, December 6th:

  • First & last name, address and phone number
  • A description of the picture*

*Only one picture per home address will be accepted. Picture collages are not advised.

Voting Process:

All photo/short video entries will be added to a Facebook album on Middletown Recreation's Facebook page on Monday, December 11th. The online voting for "People's Choice" will be from 8:00am on December 11th until noon on December 15th. Awards will be given out for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place based on the number of Facebook likes (so encourage your friends and family to vote for your home!).

Winners will be announced on Friday, December 15th via Facebook, Middletown Township's website, and our Municipal TV channels (Comcast Cable 20 and Verizon FiOs Channel 26). All winners will receive an outdoor arrangement from Capelli Farms  and awards will be presented to the winners at the Township Committee meeting on Monday, December 18th.
