Please be advised that there will be a funeral procession for retired Middletown Police Chief Joseph McCarthy on Friday, September 1st starting at 10:30 AM in the New Monmouth and Port Monmouth sections of town.
The funeral procession will leave St. Mary Mother of God Church in New Monmouth and go to Fairview Cemetery on Route 35 in Middletown. Expect heavy traffic delays during this time.
