[ARCHIVED] New Monmouth/Leonardville/Tindall Road Work Updates

  • The New Monmouth Road project is progressing well and is expected to be completed within the next three weeks. The Middletown Township Public Library will still be accessible. Traffic should continue to follow posted detours.
  • Work will be starting on Tindall Road on Thursday, August 10th and will run Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There will be detours in place and traffic direction to assist motorists.
  • The Monmouth County Department of Public Works & Engineering will be milling and/or paving Leonardville Road on or about August 14th to 18th. The road will be closed overnight from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

The Township is working with the County and New Jersey Natural Gas to help ensure that most, if not all, of the work will be completed before the start of the school year. All of these projects are either immediately adjacent or close to Township schools. Please plan accordingly. We appreciate your patience.
