Starting Tuesday, March 7th, New Jersey Natural Gas will begin installation of a new eight-inch main on New Monmouth Road, Kings Highway, Church Street and Middletown-Lincroft Road. The project is expected to take about eight weeks and will be completed on weekdays 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting. Periodic lane shifts and road closures will occur along the affected roadways. This infrastructure project will replace an aging main that dates back to the 1950s.
