We invite you to join us in honoring our veterans this Sunday, November 2nd! The patriotic day will begin with the grand opening of Veterans Village, our 100% affordable housing complex for veterans, at 11:00 AM. This event, open to all, will include a flag raising, monument unveiling, tours and more!
Our 68th Annual Veterans Day Parade will begin at Bayview Elementary School at 1:00 PM, travel down Leonardville Road through historic Campbell’s Junction, and end at Mater Dei Park. There will be a post parade party there until 3:00 PM!
If your home or business is on the route, we encourage you to show your support by decorating it with a patriotic theme, whether that is with red, white, and blue balloons or a U.S. flag. Campbell's Junction is the best viewing spot, so we recommend gathering there.
Whether you're a veteran or community supporter, your presence will make the day even more special. We hope to see you on Sunday!
