MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Middletown Township Committee today announced that the Regular Meeting on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 7:00 PM will be open to the public and taking place in the courtroom at Town Hall (1 Kings Highway). The meeting will also be made available to view and listen to through CivicClerk at middletownnj.portal.civicclerk.com.
Once you visit the link, please scroll to the information for the Monday, October 20th meeting. Once the meeting begins, the event will say "LIVE" and a camera icon will appear. You can click on the camera icon to stream the meeting. After the meeting ends, a recording of it will be available.
Prior to the Township Committee Meeting, the event link will be published on the Township’s Facebook page. The recording of the meeting will be aired on the Township’s TV channel (Verizon FiOS Channel 26/Comcast Cable Channel 20) and YouTube channel.
The October 20th meeting agenda provides an opportunity for public comment on the following agenda items. Members of the public may comment only on these topics:
- 2025-3473 Ordinance Amending Township Salary Ordinance Setting Salaries For Non-Contractual Employees For 2025-2026
- 2025-3484 An Ordinance Of The Township Committee Of The Township Of Middletown, County Of Monmouth, State Of New Jersey Authorizing The Sale Of Block 84, Lot 6, Pursuant To N.J.Sa. 40a:12-1 Et Seq.
- 2025-3485 Ordinance Establishing Regulations Governing the Planting, Growing, Maintenance and Cultivating of Bamboo
There will also be a General Public Comments section at the end of the meeting. Members of the public will be able to make comments for up to 5 minutes. Directions will be provided by the Township Clerk.

Clerk's Office/Vital Statistics Extend Hours to Assist Public
On the evenings of Township Committee Regular Meetings, the Clerk's Office/Vital Statistics extends their hours from 4:00-6:00 PM to assist the public.
