Mayor's Challenge 5K + 1 Mile Fun Run 2025
Join us for our 7th annual Mayor's Challenge with all proceeds to benefit the Middletown's World Trade Center Memorial Gardens Fund, a garden at the Middletown Arts Center that honors residents whose lives were lost on 9/11. The Middletown World Trade Center Memorial Committee, a non-profit group of family members and interested residents, developed a lasting tribute to the 37 residents who were lost as a result of the World Trade Center attacks. The Mayor's Challenge takes place in the woods of Poricy Park! Please keep in mind this is a trail run which includes single track, hills, bridges, hills, woods...did we mention hills? The course is not suitable for strollers, trails are not paved. Join us first thing for a 5K Fitness Walk, a family-friendly 1 mile Fun Run, or gear up for the 5K Race - the choice is yours!
