Reaching Out To Prevent Substance Abuse, an annual session about the consequences of substance abuse will be held on Wednesday, May 4th from 7:00-9:00pm. The evening, hosted by Middletown’s Municipal Alliance for the Prevention of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, features presentations on the health, legal, and personal repercussions of substance abuse. Middletown’s Mayor Gerry Scharfenberger, Ph.D., and Police Chief R. Craig Weber are among those scheduled to participate in the program.
