MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Middletown Township Committee today announced that the Regular Meeting on Monday, December 16, 2024 at 7:00 PM will be open to the public and taking place in the courtroom at Town Hall (1 Kings Highway). The meeting will also be made available to view and listen to through CivicClerk. Previous Township Committee Meetings were available to view and listen to through Cisco Webex. Going forward, all Township Committee Meetings will be accessible via CivicClerk.
The meeting will be made available to watch or listen to by visiting middletownnj.portal.civicclerk.com. Once you visit the link, please scroll to the information for the Monday, December 16th meeting. Once the meeting begins, the event will say "LIVE" and a camera icon will appear (pictured below). You can click on the camera icon to stream the meeting. After the meeting ends, a recording of it will be available.
Prior to the Township Committee Meeting, the event link will be published on the Township’s Facebook page. The recording of the meeting will be aired on the Township’s TV channel (Verizon FiOS Channel 26/Comcast Cable Channel 20) and YouTube channel.
The December 16th meeting agenda provides an opportunity for public comment on the following agenda items. Members of the public may comment only on these topics:
- 2024-3440 Ordinance Repealing And Replacing § 540-1001 To 1012 Of The Code Of The Township Of Middletown Establishing New Stormwater Management Regulations
- 2024-3444 Ordinance Establishing Mixed Use Development Standards For Affordable Housing
- 2024-3446 Ordinance Amending And Supplementing Chapter 423 Of The Code Of The Township Of Middletown Governing Stormwater Regulations To Include Article VI Tree Removal And Replacement Requirements As Mandated By The NJDEP
There will also be a General Public Comments section at the end of the meeting. Members of the public will be able to make comments for up to 5 minutes. Directions will be provided by the Township Clerk.

Clerk's Office/Vital Statistics Extend Hours to Assist Public
On the evenings of Township Committee Regular Meetings, the Clerk's Office/Vital Statistics will be extending their hours from 4:00-6:00 PM to assist the public.
