[ARCHIVED] Middletown Township Committee to Host Regular Meeting on Monday, 11/18 at Town Hall

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Middletown Township Committee today announced that the Regular Meeting on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 7:00 PM will be open to the public and made available to view and listen to through Cisco Webex. The meeting will be taking place in the courtroom at Town Hall (1 Kings Highway). 

The meeting will be made available to watch or listen to by visiting middletownnj.org/tcmeeting. If prompted, please enter your name and email address to join. To call in to the meeting, dial 1-408-418-9388. The event access code is 2342 555 9837 followed by #. Enter 2024 if a passcode is required. 

Prior to the Township Committee Meeting, the event link will be published on the Township’s Facebook page. The recording of the meeting will be aired on the Township’s TV channel (Verizon FiOS Channel 26/Comcast Cable Channel 20) and YouTube channel.

The November 18th meeting agenda provides an opportunity for public comment on the following agenda items. Members of the public may comment only on these topics:

  •  2024-3436 Ordinance Amending 2024-2028 Salary Ordinance
  • 2024-3437 Bond Ordinance Providing An Appropriation Of $3,571,000 For Various Capital Improvements By And For The Township Of Middletown In The County Of Monmouth, New Jersey And Authorizing The Issuance Of $3,392,450 In Bonds Or Notes Of The Township For Financing Part Of The Appropriation.
  • 2024-3438 Bond Ordinance Providing An Appropriation Of $4,491,000 For Various Park Improvements By And For The Township Of Middletown In The County Of Monmouth, New Jersey And Authorizing The Issuance Of $3,704,050 In Bonds Or Notes Of The Township For Financing Part Of The Appropriation
  • 2024-3439 Ordinance Amending And Supplementing Chapter 423 Of The Code Of The Township Of Middletown Governing Stormwater Regulations To Include Article VII Privately-Owned Salt Storage Requirements As Required By State Law 

There will also be a General Public Comments section at the end of the meeting. Members of the public will be able to make comments for up to 5 minutes. Directions will be provided by the Township Clerk.

Clerk's Office/Vital Statistics Extend Hours to Assist Public 

On the evenings of Township Committee Regular Meetings, the Clerk's Office/Vital Statistics will be extending their hours from 4:00-6:00 PM to assist the public.
