Quarterly taxes are due August 1, 2024. There is an extended grace period, so the last day to pay without interest is August 26, 2024. Any payment received after 4:00 PM on Monday, August 26th either in the Tax Collection Office (1 Kings Highway) or via our online payment portal will accrue interest from the statutory due date of Thursday, August 1st.
Final 2024/2025 Preliminary Tax Bills will be mailed no later than Wednesday, July 31st. August 2024 tax amounts are also available now on the online payment poral.

Pay Taxes Online
For your convenience, taxes can be paid online through the Township’s payment portal. Please note there are fees. The fee for all debit and credit card payments will be approximately 2.95% of your total bill. The fee for an e-check is $1.95. Pay online at www.middletownnj.org/taxpayment.
The online platform cannot accept partial payments, however they can be made through the office by check.

Pay Taxes By Drop Box
The drop box is located to the right of the front door outside of Town Hall (1 Kings Highway). The drop box is checked every morning at 8:00 AM so if you require same day posting please come into the building.
Receipts
Remittances requiring a receipt MUST be accompanied by the entire tax bill with a self-addressed stamped envelope. Otherwise, detach the appropriate stub and mail with your check. The canceled check will be your receipt.
