[ARCHIVED] Save the Date for Annual Memorial Day Parade with American Legion Post 338 on Monday, 5/27 at 10 AM

Memorial Day Parade 2024: Monday, 5/27 at 10 AM at Bayshore Middle School

Middletown Township and American Legion Post 338 encourage residents to come together for the annual Memorial Day Parade to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice and served our country.

The parade begins at 10:00 AM at Bayshore Middle School and will head west on Leonardville Road and turn right at Appleton Avenue to continue across Route 36 to Center Avenue, then turn right and continue along Center Avenue to Brevent Avenue. The parade will turn right onto Brevent Avenue for two blocks, turn right onto Highland Avenue, then left on Leonard Avenue, and right on Viola Avenue. The route then continues on Viola Avenue zig-zaggedly across Thompson Avenue onward to turn left onto Appleton Avenue, crossing Route 36 again. The parade will conclude at American Legion Post 338 (860 NJ-36). Dignitaries will speak at the Post, and then hot dogs and beverages will be served.

The parade is expected to last about an hour. Please expect delays and plan an alternate route if needed. Below is a map of the parade route.

Prior to the parade, there will be a service at the World War II Memorial (900 Leonardville Road) at 9:00 AM.

We hope to see you at both events!
