[ARCHIVED] Last Day to Pay Quarterly Property Tax is Thursday, 11/10

Tax Collection November 2022 Past Due Date_news

Quarterly taxes were due November 1, 2022. The last day to pay without interest is November 10, 2022. Any payment received after 4 PM on Thursday, November 10th either in the Tax Collection Office (900 Leonardville Road) or via our online payment portal will accrue interest from the statutory due date of Tuesday, November 1st and additional Tax Sale costs and fees, which cannot be waived. Only certified funds, cash, or money orders will be accepted at that time.


HOW TO PAY YOUR TAX BILL

Pay Taxes Online

For your convenience, taxes can be paid online through the Township’s payment portal. Please note there are fees. The fee for all debit and credit card payments will be approximately 2.95% of your total bill. The fee for an e-check is $1.95. Pay online at www.middletownnj.org/taxpayment. 

The online platform cannot accept partial payments, however they can be made through the office by check.

Make checks payable to the Township of Middletown and mail to:

Pay Taxes In Person

Croydon Hall Municipal Building
900 Leonardville Road
Leonardo, NJ 07737

Payments cannot be made in person at Town Hall (1 Kings Highway).

Pay Taxes By Drop Box

The drop box is located by the front door of the Croydon Hall Municipal Building (900 Leonardville Road). The drop box is checked every morning at 8:00 AM so if you require same day posting please come into the building. 

Receipts

Remittances requiring a receipt MUST be accompanied by the entire tax bill with a self-addressed stamped envelope. Otherwise, detach the appropriate stub and mail with your check. The canceled check will be your receipt.
