[ARCHIVED] Middletown Township Committee to Host Regular Meeting on Tuesday, 1/20 at Town Hall

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Middletown Township Committee today announced that the Regular Meeting on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 7:00 PM will be open to the public and taking place in the courtroom at Town Hall (1 Kings Highway). The meeting will also be made available to view and listen to through CivicClerk at middletownnj.portal.civicclerk.com.

Once you visit the link, please scroll to the information for the Tuesday, January 20th meeting. Once the meeting begins, the event will say "LIVE" and a camera icon will appear. You can click on the camera icon to stream the meeting. After the meeting ends, a recording of it will be available.

Prior to the Township Committee Meeting, the event link will be published on the Township’s Facebook page. The recording of the meeting will be aired on the Township’s TV channel (Verizon FiOS Channel 26/Comcast Cable Channel 20) and YouTube channel.

The January 20th meeting agenda provides an opportunity for public comment on the following agenda item. Members of the public may comment only on this topic:

  • 2026-3491 Ordinance Amending Chapter 540 Of The Code Of The Township Of Middletown Governing The Development Standards For Block 1045, Lots 2, 3 And 4 On The Township’s Official Tax Maps

There will also be a General Public Comments section at the end of the meeting. Members of the public will be able to make comments for up to 5 minutes. Directions will be provided by the Township Clerk.

Clerk's Office/Vital Statistics Extend Hours to Assist Public 

On the evenings of Township Committee Regular Meetings, the Clerk's Office/Vital Statistics extends their hours from 4:00-6:00 PM to assist the public.
