As of Monday, September 1st your bulk pickup day is now your bulk pickup week! The Township’s contractor, IWS, now has a dedicated truck and crew for this effort 5 days per week!
Simply register by 3:00 PM Sunday through Thursday of your scheduled recycling week to have your bulk collected within 48 hours. There can only be one bulk collection request per household during your recycling week. If you don’t schedule in advance, your bulk will not be collected.
You can conveniently schedule your bulk one of three ways:
- Click on the "Bulky Items" icon in the Recycle Coach app. Then click “Schedule a Pickup Appointment” and you’ll be prompted to identify your items. You can also schedule through Recycle Coach via the website: middletownnj.org/bulk.
- Email bulk@middletownnj.org. *
- Call 732-615-3278 to leave a message on the dedicated bulk collection scheduling line. *
*If you email or call to schedule your bulk collection, you'll need to provide your name, contact information, and a description of the items you will be leaving curbside during your scheduled recycling week. You may leave up to 4 items of bulk for each pickup totaling 75 pounds maximum. All items must be less than 6 feet in length.
