MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Middletown Township Committee today announced that the Workshop Meeting on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 7:00 PM will be open to the public and made available to view and listen to through Cisco Webex. The meeting will be taking place in the courtroom at Town Hall (1 Kings Highway).
The meeting will be made available to watch or listen to by visiting middletownnj.org/tcmeeting. If prompted, please enter your name and email address to join. To call in to the meeting, dial 1-408-418-9388. The event access code is 2332 766 0077 followed by #. Enter 2024 if a passcode is required.
Prior to the Township Committee Meeting, the event link will be published on the Township’s Facebook page. The recording of the meeting will be aired on the Township’s TV channel (Verizon FiOS Channel 26/Comcast Cable Channel 20) and YouTube channel.
The December 2nd meeting agenda provides an opportunity for public comment on the following agenda items. Members of the public may comment only on these topics:
- 2024-3441 Bond Ordinance Amending And Restating Ordinance 2024-3434 By Providing An Appropriation Of $2,100,000 For Acquisition Of Property By And For The Township Of Middletown In The County Of Monmouth, New Jersey And Authorizing The Issuance Of $1,995,000 In Bonds Or Notes Of The Township For Financing Part Of The Appropriation
- 2024-3442 Ordinance Authorizing Acceptance Of Declaration Of Restrictive And Protective Covenants For Stormwater Maintenance And Various Related Deed Of Easements Over Portions Of Block 720, Lots 4.01, 4.02, 4.03, 4.04 And 4.05 (Atlantic Avenue)
- 2024-3443 Ordinance Amending The Code Of The Township Of Middletown Governing Smoke And Vape Shops And The Sale Of Vaping And Smoking Products And Paraphernalia In Business Establishments
- 2024-3445 Ordinance Amending § 240-23 Of The Code Of The Township Of Middletown Establishing Fee For Carfax Accident Reports
There will also be a General Public Comments section at the end of the meeting. Members of the public will be able to make comments for up to 5 minutes. Directions will be provided by the Township Clerk.

Clerk's Office/Vital Statistics Extend Hours to Assist Public
On the evenings of Township Committee Regular Meetings, the Clerk's Office/Vital Statistics will be extending their hours from 4:00-6:00 PM to assist the public.
