MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Middletown Township Committee today announced that the Regular Meeting on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 7:00 PM will be open to the public and made available to view and listen to through Cisco Webex. The meeting will be taking place in the courtroom at Town Hall (1 Kings Highway).
The meeting will be made available to watch or listen to by visiting www.middletownnj.org/tcmeeting. If prompted, please enter your name and email address to join. To call in to the meeting, dial 1-408-418-9388. The event access code is 2347 617 7497 followed by #. Enter 2024 if a passcode is required.
Prior to the Township Committee Meeting, the event link will be published on the Township’s Facebook page. The recording of the meeting will be aired on the Township’s TV channel (Verizon FiOS Channel 26/Comcast Cable Channel 20) and YouTube channel.
The October 21st meeting agenda provides an opportunity for public comment on the following agenda items. Members of the public may comment only on these topics:
- 2024-3431 Ordinance Repealing And Replacing Ordinance No. 2024-3424 Adopting The 325 Highway 36 Redevelopment Plan Consisting Of Block 238, Lots 5 And 6 And A Portion Of The Central Avenue Right Of Way
- 2024-3434 An Ordinance Providing Funding For Acquisition Of Property For The Township Of Middletown And Appropriating $2,100,000 For Such Purpose.
- 2024-3435 Ordinance Authorizing Entry Of Purchase And Sale Agreement With The Richard J. Stavola Family Trust For The Acquisition Of Block 1030, Lots 7 And 10 (127 Hubbard Avenue) For Open Space Preservation Purposes
There will also be a General Public Comments section at the end of the meeting. Members of the public will be able to make comments for up to 5 minutes. Directions will be provided by the Township Clerk.

Clerk's Office/Vital Statistics Extend Hours to Assist Public
On the evenings of Township Committee Regular Meetings, the Clerk's Office/Vital Statistics will be extending their hours from 5:30-7:30 PM to assist the public.
