Middletown Township Launches Customized 'Recycle Coach' Smartphone/Web App


Today, Middletown Township launched Recycle Coach, a free customized mobile and web application that contains garbage, bulk and recycling information. Residents can access collection schedules, events, and search acceptable recyclable materials. Alerts and reminders are also available via the app. You can download the free app from iTunes or the GooglePlay app store. You can also access it online HERE

Eagle Scout
Deputy Mayor Kevin Settembrino attended an Eagle Scout Ceremony for Troop 140 on Thursday, June 1st. He spoke at their court of honor ceremony to welcome four young men into the fold of Eagle Scouts. Congratulations to Thomas Waggner, John Spero, Anthony Amodeo, and Christopher Bonin, Jr. on this outstanding achievement! 
 
Poricy Park Photo Contest
On Thursday, May 31st, the Poricy Park Conservancy hosted an Awards Tea at the Poricy Park Nature Center to recognize the participants of its first Winter in Poricy Photography Contest. Committeeman Tony Perry, Township Administrator Tony Mercantante, Director of Recreation Janet Dellett, Director of Community Development Amy Sarrinikolaou, and members of the Poricy Conservancy congratulated contest winner Kelly Bell on her breathtaking photo of the park. Thank you to all of the participants for submitting such beautiful images.

Roadwork on Kings Highway & Church Street 

The roadwork that has been taking place at the intersection of Kings Highway and Church Street to signalize the roadway is complete. Please be aware that there will be a traffic light at that intersection in the coming weeks.
