Nut Swamp's Girl Scout Troop 1382 Celebrates Our Community with Mayor Murray!

Mayor Steph Murray met with Girl Scout Troop 1382 from Nut Swamp Elementary School at Town Hall on Monday, April 23rd to discuss what makes our community unique, our local government, and her role as the Mayor of Middletown. The girls asked questions and were given a tour of Town Hall which helped them earn their 'Celebrating Community' badges!

Middletown Supports Monmouth County Parks

On Wednesday, April 25th, Deputy Mayor Kevin Settembrino and Committeeman Tony Perry attended the annual wine and craft beer tasting hosted by the 'Friends of the Monmouth County Parks System' to support Monmouth County Parks. We thank all of the supporters and employees who help keep our country parks beautiful!

Middletown Township Fire Department Holds
Large Diameter Hose Drill at Belford Ferry Terminal

Deputy Mayor Kevin Settembrino and Committeemen Tony Perry and Rick Hibell attended the Middletown Township Fire Department's Large Diameter Hose (LDH) drill at the Belford Ferry Terminal on Sunday, April 22nd. MTFD Chief Ryan Clarke and over 60 local volunteer firefighters from the Middletown Township Fire Department ran this large-scale training exercise to simulate a situation where firefighters would need to create a pipeline from a local water source to stop a fire. Fire Chief Ryan Clarke oversaw the drill, which is typically done twice per year, and gave members of the Township Committee a tour that showed the kind of work, dedication, and equipment it takes to perform this drill. Roadwork & Detours

Two Northbound Local GSP Lanes Over Middletown-Lincroft Rd. Will Be Closed 4/27 through 4/30

The New Jersey Turnpike Authority will be closing two northbound local lanes of the Garden State Parkway over Middletown-Lincroft Road starting Friday, April 27th at 10:00 a.m. through 5 a.m. Monday, April 30th. Permanent repairs are being made to the Middletown-Lincroft Road bridge that was damaged in an accident in November.
The bridge is located between exits 109 and 114. Drivers who plan to travel north through the area are advised to allow extra time and to consider alternate routes.

Road Closure on Middletown Lincroft Road at GSP Overpass Throughout Weekend

Beginning 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 27th, Middletown Lincroft Road at the GSP Overpass will be completely closed throughout the weekend and will reopen at 5:00 a.m. Monday, April 30th.

Roadwork on Highway 35 Between Chapel Hill Road & Apple Farm Road

Highway 35 between Chapel Hill Road and Apple Farm Road will have shoulder and right lane closures between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, 4/30 through Friday, 5/4.

Roadwork on Kings Highway & Church Street

There is significant roadwork being done on Kings Highway and Church Street in preparation of the signalization of the roadway. Kings Highway will have lane shifts in place and Church Street will have intermittent closures between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. from Monday, 4/30 through Friday, 5/4. Detours will be in place to follow. Please plan alternate routes.
