Lincroft Elementary Career Day
Deputy Mayor Kevin Settembrino was the guest speaker at the Lincroft Elementary School Career Day on Friday, April 13th. Lincroft fifth graders listened as he spoke about his career as an elected official and they had a chance to ask questions about his role in our community as the Deputy Mayor on the Township Committee.

News 12 Airs Segment on Township's Plan to Install Cameras in Our
Parks  


On Tuesday, April 10th Tony Caputo of News 12 stopped by Town Hall to interview Township Administrator Tony Mercantante about the Township’s plan to install cameras in our parks starting at the end of summer/early fall. The intention of the cameras is to deter any criminal activity or vandalism within our parks and to keep the Middletown community safe. Township Happenings and Events 

IBCA Meeting

Committeeman Rick Hibell, Township Administrator Tony Mercantante, Police Chief Craig Weber, Recreation Director Janet Dellett, and Director of Community Development Amy Sarrinikolaou attended the monthly Ideal Beach Community Association meeting on Monday, April 9th. The meetings are a chance for residents and Township officials to come together and discuss ways of improving the Ideal Beach community. One of the highlights of the meeting was re-energizing the Neighborhood Watch Program with the help of Police Chief Weber and Detective Danny Sullivan.

The Ideal Beach Community Association holds its meetings the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00PM at the Tonya Keller Community Center. Click the picture to learn more!

Oak Hill Community

The Oak Hill Community Association held a general meeting on Tuesday, April 10th where residents were able to ask Township officials questions as well as receive other community updates.

Youth Job Fair

The Middletown Township Community Affairs Council held its annual Youth Job Fair at Middletown High School North this past Wednesday, April 11th. The purpose of the Job Fair is to provide full, part-time, or summer job opportunites to the youth of Middletown while helping employers fill job vacancies within our town. Deputy Mayor Kevin Settembrino and Committeeman Tony Perry stopped by to show support for this wonderful event. Thanks to all who were involved!

New This Summer: Trip Camp!


Formerly known as Trail Blazers/Navigators, teens will go on various field trips in this newly-renovated program for grades 7, 8 and 9. All trips will begin and end at the Tonya Keller Community Center (50 Bray Avenue). Registration is done per week, not per trip. The fee is $225 per week (Monday-Thursday). Roadwork & Detours


Lane Closures on Middletown Lincroft Road at GSP Overpass Starting 4/16

Starting on Monday, April 16th Middletown Lincroft Road at the GSP Overpass will have intermittent lane closures between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday-Friday through April 20th. 


Roadwork on Highway 35 Between Chapel Hill Road & Apple Farm Road

Highway 35 between Chapel Hill Road and Apple Farm Road will have lane closures between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday from Monday, 4/16 through Friday, 4/20. 

Roadwork on Kings Highway & Church Street 

There is significant roadwork being done on Kings Highway and Church Street in preparation of the signalization of the roadway. Kings Highway will have lane shifts in place and Church Street will have intermittent closures between 9am and 4pm from Monday, 4/16 through Friday, 4/20. Detours will be in place to follow. Please plan alternate routes. If you have any questions, contact Traffic at 732-615-2045.
