Earlier this year, the Middletown Township Public Library (55 New Monmouth Road) celebrated its 100th anniversary. MTPL has been hosting centennial-inspired events throughout 2021 and is currently raising funds that will go toward creating a new History Room that will feature enhanced technology, such as augmented and virtual reality, and a gallery display that will encourage visitors to reflect on our vibrant history while embracing the future.

Get to Know the Garden State Greats with the MTPL on Monday, 11/8 at 7 PM

Join the Middletown Township Public Library on Monday, November 8th at 7 PM for a virtual program about football in the Garden State! Sports author and historian Mark Stewart will provide an overview of New Jersey’s role in the evolution of football from high school to college to the pros—including the first American football games in 1869 and the state’s initial attempt at fielding an NFL team more than 80 years ago. He will also present short biographical sketches of his favorite NJ football stars and conclude with his all-time Top 10 list. Registration is required.

Lincroft Fire Company is hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, November 10th at their station (601 Newman Springs Rd.) from 11 AM - 7 PM. The Lincroft Ladies Auxiliary is also hosting a clothing drive fundraiser on Friday, November 12th from 5 - 8 PM, Saturday, November 13th from 12 - 3 PM, and Friday, November 19th from 5 - 8 PM. Donations will be accepted at the Lincroft Fire Company.
