On Sunday, June 6th, Lincroft Troop 110 Boy Scout Ryan O'Toole was promoted to Eagle Scout at a ceremony that took place at Lincroft Village Green. Ryan earned this prestigious rank by building five Lego tables for the disability programs at five Middletown schools. He hosted fundraisers to raise money for supplies and distributed the tables to Bayview Elementary School, Lincroft Elementary School, High School South, Village Elementary, and Harmony School in January 2020. He was officially promoted this past October and celebrated with an official ceremony last weekend.

The Lego tables provide students with disabilities an opportunity to practice their fine motor skills. Inspired by the disability program he went through at Bayview Elementary School, Ryan wanted to give back to the students who are following the same path he took.

Ryan recently graduated from the Diesel Mechanics program at Monmouth County Vocational School District. Now as an Eagle Scout, he plans to serve as a mentor to Lincroft Troop 110.

Congratulations on all your achievements, Ryan!
Your involvement has made a positive difference in our schools and Township.
