Mayor Perry Meets with Cub Scouts to Discuss Community Leadership

Boy Scout Den 1 Virtual Chat with Mayor Perry

On Wednesday, November 25th, Mayor Tony Perry participated in a virtual meeting with Cub Scout Den 1 Pack 122 of New Monmouth Elementary School to discuss what it means to be a community leader. Den leader Alyssa Spigai arranged this conversation since the scouts are working towards their "Arrow of Light" rank. Part of earning this rank is meeting with local leaders to learn how to better serve their community. Mayor Perry reminded the boys that they don't need to be a mayor to make a difference; they can do it by standing up for others, doing their best in school, and most importantly by helping their parents!
