Bayshore Middle School participated in The Great Kindness Challenge this week. This week-long initiative involves over 10 million students across the country and serves as a tool to encourage young people to perform as many kind deeds as possible using a provided checklist. The goal of the program is to improve school climate and unite all students in the spirit of kindness and respect. Mayor Tony Perry and Committeewoman Pat Snell received a warm reception from the school, including cheers and musical performances. They stopped by to show support and read a proclamation in the morning announcements dedicating January 27-31, 2020 as the Great Kindness Challenge week in Middletown. We thank all the students, teachers and faculty at Bayshore Middle School for setting such a great example for our community.
