Public Notice is hereby given that the Township of Middletown Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program will conduct a public meeting on May 17, 2018 to solicit public comment regarding the Township’s Annual Action Plan of the Consolidated Plan (AAP), Fiscal Year 2018 (January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018). The public meeting will be conducted at 7:00PM in the main courtroom at the Township of Middletown Municipal Complex, 1 Kings Highway, Middletown, New Jersey 07748. This facility is handicap accessible and handicap accessible parking spaces are provided. If special accommodations are needed, please call the Community Development Office at (732) 615-2281.
The 2018 Action Plan will be available for citizen review and comment on May 11, 2018, at the Middletown Township Department of Planning and Community Development, 3 Penelope Lane, Middletown, NJ, between the hours of 8:30AM and 4:00PM. The Township of Middletown FY2018 CDBG allocation totals $251,171 for housing, community and economic development activities, and assistance for low and moderate-income persons and special populations; and anticipates $20,000 in program income.

The proposed AAP/CP will be available for review and comment until June 11, 2018. Any concerned Township citizen may comment upon said proposed AAP at the public meeting, or in writing to the Department of Planning and Community Development until June 11, 2018.
