  2. Lincroft Senior Housing Corp

    The Lincroft Senior Citizen Housing Corporation is an independent entity that provides rental housing and related facilities and services for elderly and handicapped families on a non-profit basis. This Corporation offers housing through Luftman Towers and the Pavilion. Both are located off Hurley’s Lane in the Lincroft section of Middletown Township. Residents are appointed to the Board of Directors by the Township Committee. The term of office is five years. Meetings are generally held the 4th Thursday of the month.

  1. 2017 Annual Action Plan Public Meeting

    The Township of Middletown Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program will conduct a public meeting on October 26, 2016 to solicit public comment regarding the Township’s Annual Action Plan of the Consolidated Plan (AAP), Fiscal Year 2017 (January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2017). The 2017 Action Plan will be available for citizen review and comment on October 14, 2016, for a period of 30 days, ending November 14, 2016, at the Middletown Township Department of Planning and Community Development, 3 Penelope Lane, Middletown, NJ, between the hours of 8:30AM and 4:00PM.

  1. Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic

    October 22, 2016, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Croydon Hall Gym

    Middletown Township will be holding a free Rabies vaccination clinic for dogs on October 22, 2016 from 9:00AM-11:00am at the Croydon Hall Gym (900 Leonardville Road Leonardo, NJ 07737). We will also be offering a Pet Microchipping program at our rabies clinics. This will only be offered to Middletown residents with a current pet license. The Microchips will cost $10.00 per pet. This fee includes the chipping of your pet as well as lifetime registration in a microchip database. If you are interested in obtaining a Microchip for your pet please bring your licensing paperwork, along with a check or cash to pay for your license and microchip, to the rabies clinic. Credit cards cannot be accepted at the clinic site. To use a credit/debit card, you must pay online or in our office. All dogs must be on a leash under the control of an adult. If you would like more information, please contact Animal Control at 732-615-2097.

  1. Prescription Medication Drop-Off

    On Saturday, October 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Middletown Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public its 12th opportunity in six years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your pills for disposal to Police Headquarters located at Town Hall, 1 Kings Highway. (The DEA cannot accept liquids or needles or sharps, only pills or patches.) The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

    This spooktacular evening presented by Middletown Recreation, Middletown Arts Center, and Poricy Park Conservancy includes candy, costume contests, cartooning with the Doodle Dude, haunted hayrides and more! Be sure to bring a flashlight! Costume contest for several age groups and groups of 2 or more begin at 5:15pm. Please arrive by 5:00pm for the costume contest age group assembly. Hayrides start at 5:30pm. Free goodie bags will be given out to children only upon departure.

  3. October Fossil Hunt

    Calling all amateur paleontologists! Come dig up some Middletown history at the Poricy Brook Fossil Beds. Expect to find marine fossils from the Cretaceous period, 65-72 million years ago. Meet at the Poricy Park Nature Center for a short orientation before travelling to the fossil beds. An experienced guide will provide you with a trowel and sifter, as well as help you identify your treasures. Please wear rubber boots or old sneakers, as your feet will get wet. Sandals, flip-flops, and other slip-on footwear are prohibited. Ages 5+, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
